GRACE NOTES TO BE HEARD AGAIN THIS SUMMER

Once again this summer, the Pennington Presbyterian Church will host Grace Notes, a series of Wednesday evening of fellowship, food and music for all ages. The evenings begin at 6:00 PM with fun, fellowship, and a picnic supper. Burgers, hotdogs, salads and dessert are supplied for a small fee. Old time table games are available for all ages to play. The music begins at 7:00 PM, providing the background for continued conversations, and the chance for others to join in singing. Grace Notes will be held in the church courtyard, weather permitting, and in Heritage Hall in the case of rain or if its too hot to be outdoors. Join us for our last event of the summer: August 20 . Contact the church office if you would like to contribute salads or desserts for any of the evenings.

Grief Support Group

sorrow – empty – pain lonely – anger – listless

These may be some of the deep feelings of hurt you are having if you lost a spouse, child, family member or friend. This can be a confusing time when you may feel isolated and in need of someone to talk to. You do not have to go through the grieving process alone.

Rev. Karin Nelson McAnlis who is new to our congregation is leading a new Grief Support Group every other Wednesday evening at 7:30 in the Reception Room. Sign-ups are not necessary. This is not a program with a beginning and ending, but is open-ended where anyone can come and be embraced by caring people moving toward the rebuilding of life. Please contact the church office if you have any questions. Next meeting: August 27
