Friends in the Family of Faith,

The Christian season of Lent will soon come to a close as we move into Holy Week. This is a special time, set aside each year, for us to experience the two most significant celebrations of the Christian year: Good Friday and Easter. Each service in Holy Week is unique and invites us to walk with Jesus on the road that leads to grace. Please come and worship with us!

Sunday, March 28 at 10:15 AM: Palm Sunday Worship We will raise our palm branches and join the throng in singing "Hosanna!” to our Lord Jesus Christ. The service will include a drama called "Stages on the Way” and special music by the Cherub and Adult Choirs. The One Great Hour of Sharing offering will be received. Offering envelopes will be in the pews and children are encouraged to return their fish banks.

Thursday, April 1 at 7:30 PM: Maundy Thursday Worship This service will recall Jesus' Last Supper with his disciples and his command to "Love one another as I have loved you.” Communion will be celebrated.

Friday, April 2 at noon: Ecumenical Good Friday Worship The Pennington community gathers together each year to worship as one body in Christ. The service will be held at St. Matthews's Episcopal Church on the corner of Curlis and S. Main Street.

Friday, April 2 at 7:30 PM: Good Friday Taize Style Worship A beautiful candle-lit space will welcome people of faith to a service of worship marked by simplicity, prayerful singing, moments for meditation, and prayers around the cross on behalf of all those who suffer. This style of worship comes from an ecumenical community in Taize, France.

Sunday, April 4 at 6:30 AM: Easter Sunrise Service at Rosedale Park As we watch the sun rise in the eastern sky, we will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Dress warmly and bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. A delicious breakfast will be provided after the service in Heritage Hall by our deacons.

Sunday, April 4 at 10:15 AM: Easter Celebration of the Resurrection "Christ is Risen!” "He is Risen Indeed!” With prayers and songs, scripture and sermon, broken bread and the blessed cup, we will celebrate the foundation of our faith. He is Risen!

This year our Easter Offering will be divided equally between the Presbyterian Disaster Relief Fund earmarked for Haiti, and the Crisis Ministry of Trenton and Princeton.

Grace and Peace,

Nancy Mikoski, Pastor             Susan Fall, Associate Pastor

 SHARING RESOURCES...CHANGING LIVES

ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING ~ Sunday, March 28th

Since 1949, Presbyterians have joined with millions of other Christians through One Great Hour of Sharing to share God’s love with people experiencing need. Our gifts support ministries of disaster response, refugee assistance and resettlement, and community development that help people find safe refuge, start new lives and work together to strengthen their families and communities.

Recognizing that the hope we have in Christ is lived out in our hope for one another, we respond with gifts that help our sisters and brothers around the world find the hope for a brighter future.

Fish banks available now in Upper Titus.  Envelopes will be in the pews.

Something new and exciting is
